Australia Squad Updates Ahead of Bangladesh ODI Series

The Australian squad faces roster adjustments before the upcoming ODI series against Bangladesh. All-rounders Sophie Molineux and Grace Harris Hamilton have been ruled out of the fixture list as they navigate respective fitness setbacks. Molineux is currently managing a hip injury, while Hamilton is nursing a minor quad strain.

Team medical staff confirmed that the primary goal for both players is a full recovery ahead of the subsequent T20I series against New Zealand. In their absence, Tahlia McGrath has been tasked with the captaincy duties to steer the team through the Bangladesh campaign.

These absences leave the selectors with significant holes to fill in the starting XI as they finalize preparations for the upcoming encounters. The management remains optimistic that the sidelined duo will return to action once their rehabilitation programs are completed, ensuring they are available for the later stages of the international calendar.
