Calcutta Challengers produced a ruthless all-round display to demolish Under Dogs by 78 runs, piling up a colossal 241/4 in 13 overs before bowling the opposition out for 163/9. Hamzad lit up the innings with a sensational 100 off 32 balls, but it was Miraj who took home the Man of the Match award for a genuine all-round performance — a rapid 71 off 29 at the top of the order followed by a match-defining 3/15 with the ball that tore through the Under Dogs middle order.
Miraj: 71 to Open, Then 3/15 to Close It Out
Opening the batting, Miraj set the tone immediately, sharing a brisk 64-run stand with Nasir Uddin Baidya before continuing on with Hamzad and adding a further 100 runs for the second wicket in barely five overs. His 71 off just 29 balls — seven fours and six sixes at a strike rate of 244.83 — was the innings that got CC's total moving at a frightening rate before Hamzad took over as the primary aggressor. Miraj fell at 164/2, but by then the platform was set for a total no side chasing in 13 overs was likely to overhaul.
He wasn't done. Handed the ball, Miraj produced the standout bowling spell of the match: 3/15 in 2 overs at an economy of 7.50, the best figures on either side. He bowled captain Verma Ji (9) to break Under Dogs' brief rally, then returned to remove Choton and Bishnu in the space of three balls, collapsing the innings from 131/7 to 131/9 and ending any hope of a fightback. Hamzad's Sensational Century
If Miraj set the platform, Hamzad built the monument. Coming in at number three, he took over from where Miraj left off and simply took the game away from Under Dogs, striking a magnificent 100 off just 32 balls — nine fours and ten towering sixes at a strike rate of 312.50, the highest individual score of the match by a distance. He retired hurt at 235/4 in the 12.5th over having done all the damage that mattered, a whirlwind century that turned a good total into a near-unreachable one. Ten sixes in a single innings is the kind of hitting that decides matches before the opposition even walks out to bat.

Sauvik Chaudhury: The All-Round Finisher
Sauvik Chaudhury made sure the innings didn't lose any momentum in the closing overs, striking an unbeaten 28 off just 12 balls — four sixes at a strike rate of 233.33 — in a stand with Hamzad that pushed CC from 199 to 235 before Hamzad retired. With the ball, he was busy but productive too: 2/54 in 3 overs, removing the dangerous Joydeep (28) and Nayan Broo Play (36) — both well-set batters who threatened to build something for Under Dogs before Sauvik intervened. Expensive figures against a lineup that came out swinging, but two crucial, well-timed breakthroughs.
Under Dogs Fight, But 242 Was Always Out of Reach
Chasing 242, Under Dogs lost both openers inside the first two overs — Arijit (2) and Avijit (5) — to leave the innings at 7/2 before it had even begun. Joydeep (28 off 11) and Chandu (17 off 6, SR 283.33) briefly threatened to counter-attack, and Nayan Broo Play's 36 off 16 kept the scoreboard ticking through the middle overs. But wickets fell too regularly — SURAJ PRAHLADKA (2/35) and Miraj's late triple-strike did the rest — and Under Dogs' last real hope was a fighting unbeaten 38 off 16 from Bapan Patra that came too late to matter.
