Elite 11 lost early wickets cheaply — sourav Singha Roy (2) and Danish Iqbal Stokesy (6) both fell inside the first two overs — but Surajit Mondal refused to let the innings collapse, counter-attacking with a superb 58 off just 20 balls, one four and seven sixes at a strike rate of 290.00. It was comfortably the best individual innings of the match, and for a period it looked like carrying Elite 11 to a genuinely competitive total. That's when Mohit Dubey intervened, removing Surajit Mondal and then following up with three more wickets — Anjanava Saha, Roshan Prasad and Falguni Singha Roy — to finish with 4/26 from his 3 overs.
