Man of the Match: Raju Akter

Calcutta Challengers started steadily, with Tanmay Karmakar making 40 off 20 balls and Suraj Prahladka adding 12 off 7. The innings took off once Raju Akter came in. He hit 75 off just 23 balls — seven fours and seven sixes at a strike rate of 326.09. He was retired hurt at 133/4 in the 9th over, with the target well within reach.

Paul Zomi Takes 4 for 13

Bihar 11: Sachi and Sameer Lead the Charge

Bihar 11 started quickly. Sachi smashed 63 off 20 balls with three fours and eight sixes before being run out by Suraj Prahladka, and Sameer Pathak added 47 off 15 with six sixes. Hritik Singh (15 off 15) and Sachin Pradhan (9 off 10) also chipped in, and Bihar 11 finished on 154/6 in 13.0 overs.

For Calcutta Challengers, Debangshu bowled three overs for 26 runs without a wicket, and Golam Masud went for 39 in his three. Bihar 11's bowlers Surajit Mondal (2/42) and Hritik Singh (2/25) took two wickets each, but could not stop the chase.

Calcutta Challengers' Chase

Calcutta Challengers were 27/1 after 2.3 overs, and Tanmay Karmakar's 40 off 20 kept the required rate under control. Raju Akter then took over, and once he went off injured at 133/4, Miraj (12 not out off 9) and Debangshu (9 not out off 7) saw the side home. Calcutta Challengers finished on 156/5 in 11.4 overs.

Looking Ahead

Bihar 11 will take confidence from the power of Sachi and Sameer Pathak, but they will need tighter control in the middle overs to stop a chase like this one. For Calcutta Challengers, the win shows they can chase a big total with power-hitting from Raju Akter and tight bowling from Paul Zomi.
