Aurangzeb Rashid was named Man of the Match for a double contribution: 4/11 in ten balls, including four wickets in four balls, and a fast 20 off 6 with three sixes in the chase. Rising Stars had their own stars, with captain Himanish Singh smashing 40 off 10 (five sixes), Ayush Pathak and Kamran finishing unbeaten, and Sayan, Krishna and Ayush Pathak keeping the chase tense to the very last ball.
Himanish Singh's 40 Off 10 Sets Rising Stars Off
After Mohit Dubey fell for 6 off 7 (caught by Aurangzeb Rashid off Saurabh Kumar) at 6/1, captain Himanish Singh and Ayush Pathak lifted the score quickly. Himanish hit 40 off 10 with two fours and five sixes, a strike rate of 400.00, before he was caught by Dhana Virat off Sauvik Chaudhury at 50/2 after 19 balls. Jr. Sandip then made 23 off 9 with three sixes and took the score to 80/2.
Aurangzeb Rashid Takes Four in Four Balls
At 80/2, Rising Stars were in control, but Aurangzeb Rashid turned the innings around in four deliveries.
