Vinay Prabhakar and Mayukh Ghosh Power Elite 11 to Dominant Victory

Elite 11 produced a blistering batting display to register an emphatic win over Underdogs in a high-scoring 10-over encounter, piling up 173/4 before restricting the opposition to 151/9.

The star of the evening was Vinay Prabhakar, who played a sensational unbeaten knock of 84 runs from just 28 deliveries. His innings, laced with five boundaries and eight towering sixes, came at a staggering strike rate of 300 and laid the foundation for Elite 11’s massive total.

After an early setback with Suvojit Saha departing for just one run, Elite 11 bounced back aggressively through Aakash Banka and Vinay Prabhakar. Banka smashed 25 off 11 balls, including three sixes, before Mayukh Ghosh unleashed a late assault that shifted the momentum completely.

Mayukh hammered 43 runs from only 10 deliveries, blasting seven sixes at a breathtaking strike rate of 430.00. Surajit Mondal also chipped in with a quick 14 as Elite 11 finished strongly at 173/4 in their allotted 10 overs.

For the Underdogs, Purnajit Debnaath was the pick of the bowlers with figures of 3/46.

Chasing a daunting target, the Underdogs started aggressively with contributions from Dheeraj Singh (19 off 6), Raju Roy (19 off 6), and New Town Sunny (18 off 10). However, wickets at regular intervals derailed their chase despite a sensational counterattack from Sourav Sardar.

Sourav played one of the most explosive knocks of the match, smashing 63 runs off just 14 balls with an incredible 10 sixes at a strike rate of 450.00. His fireworks briefly brought the Underdogs back into contention, but lack of support from the other end proved costly.

Parikshit Dasgupta starred with the ball for Elite 11, claiming three crucial wickets, while Umesh Mahakur and Abhishek Mitra picked up two wickets each to tighten the grip on the match.

Ultimately, the Underdogs were restricted to 151/9 in 9.2 overs, falling 22 runs short of the target.
